I saw "V for Vendetta" last week and I am still thinking about it. I guess with all the changes we have had in our country since 9/11 you can see how a government can slowly take away rights until you are in George Orwell's 1984.
the plot was gripping to me and I am glad i saw it on cable with a DVR so I could stop and rewind to make sure I kept up with who is who. This movie was done by the guys who did the matrix movies and this is no sophomore slump. I give it a big thumbs up.
I also saw Cameron Crowe's "Elizabethtown" last night. I have loved most of his movies. My top three have to be the following:
- Jerry McGuire (I know, I just loved this movie)
- Fast Times at Ridgemont high
- Say Anything (Kickboxing, the sport of the future)
Well this movie made me laugh. I really enjoyed the way it flowed and how everything fits together. I think most critics panned it but I would defiantly recommend it as a good rental.
