Visited this museum this week. I did not have very high expectations of the museum ~ I thought it would be like the Portland Maine museum of art. Portland was very sparse compared to the MFA or the Peabody Essex.
Worcester was no Portland; It had some great pieces including a few impressionists and many Sargent's After walking through I also had a better feeling for Worcester - it is a really nice city with a some really great cultural places.
The museum website also shows all the pieces very well ~ worth checking out. Nice day trip during the summer - I will be going back that is for sure.
